Welcome to our Body-Positive Therapy Services, where we celebrate and honor the uniqueness of every individual, no matter their size, shape, or appearance. We understand that struggling with body-image issues, eating disordered thoughts, and eating issues can be incredibly challenging. It's our mission to provide you with a compassionate, understanding, and judgment-free space to embark on a journey of self-acceptance and healing.
Body-Positive Therapy: Embracing Your Authentic Self
At our practice, we firmly believe in the principles of "Health at Every Size" (HAES). We understand that health is not determined solely by a number on a scale, but by a holistic approach that considers physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Our therapists are dedicated to helping you break free from the confines of society's unrealistic beauty standards and embrace a more balanced and inclusive perspective on health.
Our Approach: "Health at Every Size"
Older Adult Neuropsychological Evaluations
Our older adult/geriatric memory evaluation can assess a range of cognitive, social, and emotional functioning to assess potential causes for changes in memory or thinking abilities. Some of these conditions which may cause these changes can have an impact on your ability to make important legal, financial, or medical decisions, and can even cause changes in your personality. Our older adult/geriatric evaluations aim to provide a clear understanding of your current functioning and provide you with a care plan which allows time to make choices that will improve your quality of life, better access to treatments, and less anxiety about the unknown.
If you're seeking a therapist who embodies a body-positive philosophy, embraces the "Health at Every Size" approach, and is committed to helping you on your path to self-acceptance and healing, we're here for you. Our dedicated therapists are allies in your journey towards a healthier, more loving relationship with your body. You deserve to live a life free from the burden of body shame, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
