She has presented on LGBT issues in China at the APA conventions and other professional conferences and lectured on the psychology of sexual orientation in several parts of China. Dr. Wu was also a co-founder of two US-based Chinese Tongzhi groups and a co-organizer of the first Chinese lesbian activist training camp (the Lala Camp) in 2007.
